Superb Venetian painting from the school of Paolo Veronese attributed to Andrea Vicentino. A version of this work with variants of the Vicenza is known, painted for the Altar of the church of Santa Caterina in Venice, part of the series of works on episodes from the Story of Moses. The wax seal on the back of the frame certifies that it comes from the Collections of the Habsburg Empire. The work is accompanied by the Certificate of Free Foreign Export.
