Exceptional fountain and its basin in Moustiers earthenware from the Olérys - Laugier Manufacture, Regency period around 1720, early 18th century. We present this fountain decorated with fantastic animals, satirical characters, ancient women, or 18th century women, flowers and various characters, yellow ocher shades. The basin rests on four feet with lion heads as well as the handles. The lid of the fountain decorated with a small cherub. History: The Olérys - Laugier factory has trained numerous apprentices and craftsmen who have become the reference earthenware painters in Moustiers: Joseph Fouque (hired by Olérys and Laugier since 1739), Jean-François Pelloquin (previously trained by Jean-Baptiste Viry from the age of 14).
