" 4 Louis XV Armchairs (attr) Pierre Nogaret (1718-1771) "
Series of 4 Louis XV Armchairs, Cabriolet Shape In Walnut carved with large moldings, from the 18th Century. The Queen's Files are in Basket Handle with a Bouquet of Flowers in the Center, surrounded by Foliage on each side. The sinuous front rail, molded and sculpted with in its Center, a Bouquet of Flowers to recall the decoration of the Backrest. The armrests are Coup de Fouet. The feet are arched. The seat is wide and comfortable. Presence of the side reinforcement bar. They are covered with an old Tapestry with Small Dots Decorated with Bouquets of Flowers. Typically Lyonnais work from the Louis XV period, around 1750, attributed to the NOGARET School. Pierre NOGARET (1718-1771)
