"Louis XVI Period Transformation Table "
Louis XVI period transforming living room table in mahogany (mainly), the base is almost the signature of Canabas (no stamp found) In the closed version it is a cabaret table (cracked Carrara marble top) In the writing desk version, a pull tab is pulled under the marble, garnished with its original green shagreen and a drawer (at the top of the foot is pulled out and tilted for the inkwell. In the screen version, the period hinges and locks allow to then reveal a belt drawer in used condition, probably there were casters originally.
