Description: Ancient sculptural group depicting Saint Anna, Saint Joachim and the Madonna as a child. Naples 19th century.

The group is represented according to classical iconography with Sant'Anna on the right, San Gioacchino on the left and the Madonna as a child in the centre.

All three sculptures rest on a contemporary gilded wooden base and have a terracotta head with crystal eyes while the hands and feet are in polychrome wood.

The clothes, jewels and bell are original from the period.
