"Throughout his career, Robert Thibier has worked on many prestigious projects, including hotels, restaurants and boutiques. He has also designed furniture and decorative accessories for renowned brands such as Hermès, Cartier and Chanel.

Robert Thibier was known for his elegant and contemporary style, combining modern materials with classical forms. He was awarded several times for his work, including the Design Prize of the City of Paris in 1975 and the Grand Prix National de la Création Industrielle in 1985.

Today, Robert Thibier’s creations are kept in permanent collections of museums such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Montréal. Its influence on the world of design and decoration continues to be felt to this day."
