Tabriz rug with a flowered and cut-out medallion, accompanied along the length by pendants in the shape of large flowered halberds.
This piece measures 245 cm wide by 345 cm long. ## In beautiful used condition, Kork wool of the finest quality for velvet, slight pile reduction, fringes and selvedges in good condition.
This beautiful Indo-Persian rug takes up the criteria of ancient Persian decorations, knotted with great finesse and superb quality of Kork wool. Around 1970-1980, we can hardly imagine the immense work to create such a marvel.
The quality of these pieces cannot be demonstrated, the work is fine, precise and durable over time.
The materials used are of the highest quality: fine and soft kork wool, taken from the neck and under the belly of the lambs (first shearing) makes up the velvet knotted on fine cotton for the weft. This rug is clean, the wool is knotted beautifully and finely tight as these rugs always are. It reveals to us shades full of contrasts, many colors, including three blues, two reds, almond green, black and ivory....

It is surrounded by a border grouping bouquets and large stylized flowers.
