"Cage Clock From Napoleon III Period, 19th Century."
Openwork structure of bronze elements with beveled glass faces. The facade is decorated with chiseled gilded bronze, with an enameled dial surrounded by a frieze of flowers and ending in the upper part with a ribbon. The lower part has an ornamentation of roosters supporting a frieze of flowers. The side faces have lion heads on either side. The clock is topped with an urn decorated with laurel friezes ending with a pair of birds. Pendulum with the image of a winged cherub. Has four spinning top legs. The base of the clock is richly decorated with friezes of acanthus, an arc surrounded by a frieze of plants, arrows linked by ribbons. Has his key. Good condition. Dimensions: H: 44.5 cm 22.6 x 15 cm
