Statue of Joan of Arc in prayer, presented in armor, her sword held as a symbol of the cross. Bronze published at the beginning of the 20th century based on the original work of the sculptor Eutrope Bouret. Very good condition, moderate wear, green marble base with inclusions. Remarkable proof due to the quality of carving, the numerous details of the outfit and the noble attitude of this heroine of the Hundred Years' War. The marble base is included in the height indicated. The Parisian sculptor Eutrope Bouret (1833/1906) participated in the Salon des Artistes Français from 1875 to 1903, rewarded for his marble “Psyche at the court of Venus”; his most appreciated works were published in bronze until the first quarter of the 20th century .
