18th Century Table Lighter, Iron And Wood Pistol, Flint System.

Beautiful stand-up lighter, quite spectacular and well finished, flintlock pistol system, of which it has kept the general shape, 18th century or early 19th century.

Instructions for use: Hammer contains a flint in its adjustable pliers, with a fine screw thread.
We arm the dog by bringing it back. It locks (two notches).
The rectangular housing was loaded with tow. By pressing the trigger, hammer falls on hinged iron plate, producing sparks on tow, which are ignited by blowing. This model is equipped with a small steel base for placing a small candle.... Rectangular door, for placing reserves of tow and flint, closes with a pivoting latch.
Good condition, working order, good quality, complete, all original, just “brickable”.
