"Ancient Artisanal Work From The Basque Country "
Old artisanal work from the Basque Country: solid wood vase decorated with 2 handles made up of a pair of bronze chisteras topped with their bronze ball also. A rustic landscape, in the style of Louis Floutier, is sculpted. It represents a Basque peasant (beret!) leading his 2 oxen, a stick on his shoulders. We can deplore the attack of xylophagous insects but serious treatment was carried out.
