"18th Century Copper Measure"
Nice little grain or water measure? Probably Auvergne from the 18th Century. Cylindrical body made from a single piece of copper. Collar with folded edge towards the outside. Wide plinth fixed by riveting and four vertical reinforcement strips, two of which serve as handles. Fine decorative friezes of raised, hollow points, circles, etc. Back fixed to tin, the underside bears the date: 1803, undoubtedly a control date. Patina of time, I left this object as a find. Very good general condition. Note: beautiful model, unusual in its size and decoration. Price nonnegotiable. Delivery: €10 for mainland France.
