"Physics Demonstration Object Spring Balance"
Signed Berlin SW, Ferdinand Ernecke, circa 1900, brass, glass, metal. Physics device for body mechanics, small scale to measure the value of a force. A coil spring is housed in a glass tube, by applying weight to the upper cup, the spring changes. The manufacturer's plate reads: "Hoflieferant Sr. Maj. d. deutschen Kaisers", manufacturer and supplier of the Kaisers. Good condition, small scratches on the base. This device appears under number 5172, p. 16 from the manufacturer's catalog: Ernecke, Ferdinand - Preis-Liste n°18 über Physikalische Apparate (über 1600 Abbildungen enthaltend), 1902.
