Rare pair of torchère holder sconces in carved, gilded and polychrome wood. Scrolled plate with rich ornamentation of acanthus leaves, flowers, palmettes and scrolls from which emerges a human arm surmounted by a coat of arms painted in reserve with pig motifs wearing a laurel wreath (coat of arms to be defined). Rear electrical assembly. Good condition. The gilding has not been repeated. France or Italy? Early 18th century period.
