"Large Silver Photo Holder Medallion Enamelled With Flowers, Early 20th Century"

A garland of highly detailed flowers enameled on a background of pale yellow and purple guilloche enamel adorns this beautiful oval locket in sterling silver opening with two photo compartments.

The back is decorated with an initial G engraved in the old English alphabet.

Bail marked STERLING.

The two photo compartments are complete with their frame and a rhodoid sheet.

The medallion closes well.

Note: a restoration done with care to the enamel border. Period first third of the 20th century, English or German origin
