"Butterfield Type Mono-latitude Horizontal Dial"
Unsigned, 18th century, gilded brass. Unsigned Butterfield type dial. Octagonal plate supported by a compass and a small baluster foot. The time scale engraved on the plate is numbered in black enamelled Roman numerals: "III-XII" - "I-VIII" and divided every half hour, the hour lines radiate towards the center engraved with a plant decoration . Triangular gnomon, in gilded brass, without decoration, hinged and folding. The dry cell compass is recessed and has no inscription, the needle is in blued steel, it is covered with a flat glass set with a gilded brass washer.
