Very beautiful still life painted with a knife by the Fauvist painter (among others) Rodolphe Caillaux (1904/1989) The giant Titi with his well-known cheekiness, came from Montmartre to the ports of St Jean de Luz and Ciboure, in which he set up his gallery, left a major work imprinted with his very strong personality. Many Luzian and Basque families have collected them. We organized with my wife in ST Jean de Luz and with close family members, an exhibition in 2011 which was dedicated to him. In addition to the sought-after views of the emblematic views of the port of St Jean de Luz, many Asian museums exhibit these very thick bouquets and still lifes, offered here.
