A splendid reptile skin effect decoration in cloisonné enamel of blue-green and white scales adorns both sides of this hinged cigarette box from the Art Deco period.
The sides are enameled in a vibrant coral color in contrast.
Immaculate vermeillé interior.
The enameling and decoration correspond to the work of Louis Kuppenheim.
Louis Kuppenhiem notably collaborated with the house of CARTIER
935 hallmark on the edge of the lid as well as an unidentified maker's hallmark.
