Pair Mid-century Italian Slipper Chairs Bouclé Covered By Vittorio Dassi, 1950s flag

Object description :

"Pair Mid-century Italian Slipper Chairs Bouclé Covered By Vittorio Dassi, 1950s"
Pair of excentric loafers chairs by Vittorio Dassi from the 50's.
The legs are flared and taper down quite narrowly, which makes the chairs look sleek-elegant and light-footed.
The seat shell with a wooden frame inside is slightly overdrawn and and extended beyond the base.
The seat is visually elongated, ending with a slight downward curve and tapers slightly toward the back. The backrest also extends beyond the rear supports and is also slightly tapered.
The seat shell is not only made of upholstery material but it has a solid wooden core that gives the shape stability.
The base is one piece.
The new solid upholstery material gives the seat its round shapes and creates the comfort.
The inner plate is not felt when sitting.
The legs are black re-ebonized and Pierre Frey's bouclé gives the refined chairs your extravagant, modern look.
