End Of The 18th Century Abduction Of Europe Sculpture flag

Object description :

"End Of The 18th Century Abduction Of Europe Sculpture "
Splendid polychrome porcelain sculpture depicting the abduction of Europa. This artwork takes inspiration from the classical myth in which the Olympian god, Zeus, transforms into a bull to kidnap Princess Europa. The figure of Europa is represented as an elegantly dressed young woman, with sandals and half-up hair, who rides the white bull spotted with brown, which looks at her with a pleased expression. This sculpture, created with great skill, is able to enrich any environment in which it is placed with elegance and value. Viennese manufacture from the end of the 18th century.
