"Ceramic Odetta, Alphonse Chanteau, Hb, Quimper, Brittany"
In 1922 the Grande Maison HB in Quimper began producing art stoneware called Odetta, a name inspired by the Odet river which borders the factory and from which the clay is extracted. An exceptional period begins for Quimper ceramics thanks to the collaboration of a large number of creators (Garin, Brisson, Beauclair, Renaud, Rol, Chanteau etc.) Alphonse Chanteau was born in Nantes in 1874
