"Louis XV Period Lectern Dated 1754"
18th century church or chapel lectern dated 1754 in wrought iron. It rests on a monolithic column in solid walnut in a baluster shape into which a wrought iron needle is screwed allowing the rotation of the lectern which is inserted into the latter! In fact, the assembly is dismantled into 3 elements: the column, the targeted needle and the lectern. The beaten iron lectern decorated with scrolls with rest, it is finished with a cross under which is inscribed the date 1754. It can rotate 360. The column is in light walnut, waxed finish, measuring 107.5cm on a base square of 38/37cm. The total height is 196cm, the lectern measures 56cm wide.
