"Cross Carrying"
Oil on copper representing Christ carrying his cross surrounded by Roman legionnaires, executioners and children. A number is written on the back, 1679, as well as a letter H which can be guessed at the top. The copper is framed in a 19th century black and gold molded wood frame. Wear is visible particularly around the halo of Christ. The copper alone measures 44.7x32.7 cm.
