Set of 24 knives with solid silver handles filled in Louis XV style with foliage decoration chiselled with an interlaced CF monogram. For the 12 table knives, the blades are made of stainless steel (there are two small spots on one blade of a knife) the 12 fruit or cheese knives have a solid silver blade. All knives bear the hallmark of the neck brace head and hallmark of master goldsmith Henri Soufflot (1884 – 1910) These knives are presented in their original covered box, inside a red velun bearing the supplier's mark E . Chanteau in Alençon, and on the outside of an oilcloth with the same figure as the CF knives. The closures work perfectly. Period set from the end of the 19th century.
