French school of the 18th century portrait of Marie Leczinska (June 23, 1703 - June 24, 1768) wife of Louis XV, Queen of France and Navarre (September 5, 1725 - June 24, 1768)
Oil on canvas mounted on canvas 74.5 x 59, 5 cm.
Period frame in carved wood with gilded flowers and gold leaf 96 x 81 cm.

Leszczynska or Marie Leczinska, in Polish Maria Leszczyńska is a Polish aristocrat, daughter of the King of Poland Stanislas Leszczynski, Queen of France by her marriage to Louis XV in 1725. Through her son the dauphin Louis, who married Marie-Josèphe de Saxony, she is the grandmother of the last three kings of France, Louis XVI, Louis XVIII and Charles X.
