"Born in Strasbourg, October 13, 1964, to my father, Jean-Louis and my mother, Jeanine who gave me a love of everything, horses, hikes, sailboats, art, nature, castles, arts and letters, beautiful and good things, laborious and wonderful, adolescence arrives and there, my schooling was much less studious, laborious and wonderful. Passionate about painting and a bad student, I went to the Beaux-Arts in Troyes or seriously, I'm going.... at 100 cents an hour, "Draw me a sheep" not being my cup of punch, I have, during this lightning passage the superb impression of making myself C.... imperially, with little comrades who for many, they all think they are Rembrandt or Léo Castelli. In short, total, I go to agricultural school and there happiness, I am in my element, I work, without forgetting drawing, painting. For years now, I have been taking lessons with "Rosti", Rostislas Loukine on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This White Russian painter who lives in Proverville in Aube, gouachist, great traveler, erudite and above all very patient, invites me to understand free expression and color. I pay tribute to him. After studies, of which I will give you the overview, engineer, I am, a long and muddy military service in Reims, and other campaigns and towns, I still paint, I travel a lot, Eastern Europe, Asia, I exhibit also almost everywhere, France, Hungary, USA.... I will spare you the long, boring list of these charming towns where I had the leisure to exhibit, fantasy of redundant gallery owners and others who love the enumeration of these feats of arms. You understand, I paint, I sell and that's happiness, my painting associated with my job, as an antique dealer and my decoration projects, my passion for beautiful objects and for beautiful textiles, fills me. For forty-five years in search of color, of the figurative passage to the abstract, slowly and serenely, I advance in my pictorial choices by remaining on each canvas, for the time it takes.
