It dates from the second half of the 19th century and comes from Moscow.
It is painted on a wooden panel and enriched with a vermeil cover (called "oklad" in Russian) finely engraved and embossed.
It boots the Russian silver hallmark "84" as well as the hallmark of the master goldsmith "AK" for Antip KYZMITCHEV active in Moscow from 1856 to 1897.
The back of the icon is covered with original red velvet.
The work is presented in its original glazed box with a gilded wooden frame.
