Prayer In The Garden Of Gethsemane, Oil On Panel From The Ferrara School Of The 16th Century.

Splendid panel depicting the "Prayer of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane", painted in oil on panel by a very skilled painter of Ferrara culture gravitating in the workshop of Benvenuto Tisi known as Garofalo and it is probably a small panel from the predella of an altarpiece or a more complex work.

The painting is preserved in excellent condition and was mounted on a beautiful ebonized Roman frame with fine gilded carvings from the first half of the seventeenth century.

The dimensions of the table are: 25cm x 15cm and the dimensions with frame: 37cm x 28cm.

The painting presents its certificate which certifies its age and authenticity.
