"A Pair Of 1750s Baroque Lacquered Wood Sculptures Of Angel Heads With Wings"
An Important pair of 18th century lacquered wood sculptures of angel heads, from Spain. The angel heads with wings are carved from a single piece of wood and decorated in polychrome lacquer. The sculptures are excellently executed, the faces are beautiful, where the various shades of the complexion can still be distinguished, the red lips and the dark part of the hair. The two Putti are in excellent condition, there are no defects or breakages, just few signs of aging which is normal for such ancient objects, I recommend looking carefully at the photographs which are very detailed.
