Pair of chiseled bronze candlesticks gilded with mercury and white marble, decorated with patinated bronze greyhounds. The base is decorated with rows of pearls and a crown of spokes of hearts centered on a truncated marble column on which rests a seated greyhound erected along a guilloche shaft with twisted windings and chains, topped with a plume wearing the binet. Louis XVI Period, 18th Century. Chips to the marble and normal wear to the gilding.
