Dimensions A4 format: 21 x 29.7 cm framed with a pass-through everywhere total dimensions: 39 x 30 cm Painter, poster artist, graphic designer and sculptor born in Ciudad Real in 1938. After spending seasons in different Spanish cities he settled in Reus, where he attended the School of Art from the Reus Reading Center and the workshops of Juli Garola and Rodolfo Figuerola. In 1956 he entered the Provincial Competition of Tarragona for the first time, in which he subsequently obtained the first prizes for drawing and painting. He has exhibited on a case-by-case basis in Spain in the Reading Center and the Anquin' Gallery; s both from Reus, as well as from Tarragona and other large provincial towns. He also participated in very exceptional Contemporary Art exhibitions such as LONDON, TOKYO, DUBAI and VENICE. As a poster designer he works extensively for the Official Sample Fair of Reus, the Expoebre of Tortosa, etc. In this field he won the 1977 poster prize from the National Lottery. A careful and researcher artist, he practiced oil, acrylic, watercolor as well as other drawing and enamel techniques and sculpture in bronze and wood, in styles and themes as diverse as his procedure. His signature is "MANFER". In 1981, he met Andy WARHOL and Jean-Michel BASQUIAT in New York, and spent long hours in their company, discussing “the pictorial and representative techniques” of the moment. Back in Spain, he began testing retouched screen printing, based on these original drawings, just as he continued to develop his works using mechanical inkjet work on photo paper.
