DESCRIPTION: Important ceremonial piece of furniture with medallion, in boulle marquetry with brass threads on an ebony veneer background. Beautiful ornamentation of gilded bronzes with a large central medallion on the door, topped with a ribbon, and surrounded by a beaded frieze. Framing of spandrels, significant falls in feminine terms on the uprights, low falls, multiple ingot molds. Black Aleppo marble top, mahogany interior with two shelves inlaid with fillets on the edge. Beautiful dimensions for a piece of furniture with a fairly impressive door.
