Architect's table called "à la Tronchin" named after its inventor, Doctor Théodore Tronchin (1709-1781), a Geneva doctor. This mahogany and mahogany veneer desk table features a baluster base called "jacob foot" named after the prestigious family of cabinetmakers who created it at the beginning of the 19th century and which very quickly became iconic. This table with mechanism allows this desk with side pulls to be transformed into a drawing table, consultation of documents in different positions and in particular standing. The drawer in the belt reveals a writing tablet. The tops are dark green patinated leather with gold vignette.
