Attributed to Anne-Rosalie FILLEUL, pastel representing the portrait of a young child sitting on a blue silk cushion decorated with gold trimmings and holding in her hand one of her shoes with a pink ribbon. Anne-Rosalie FILLEUL, born Boquet in 1752 in Paris, is a French painter and pastel artist, friend of Élisabeth Vigée-Le Brun. She was a member of the Academy of Saint-Luc in Paris. Most of his portraits, placed in the Garde Meuble, disappeared with the French revolution and today only those of the children of the Countess of Artois remain.
