Picassiette: Beautiful And Large Jug flag

Object description :

"Picassiette: Beautiful And Large Jug"
Beautiful and large Picassiette jug. No defects, no missing shards of earthenware. Beautiful naive art object, very very decorative!
Another Picassiette for sale on my gallery.
The Picassiette technique takes its name from its creator: Raymond Isidore, known as “Picassiette” (1900-1964) was a municipal employee of the town of Chartres in Eure-et-Loir. His house is an example of naive architecture made up of earthenware and glass mosaics cast in cement. It is located in Chartres and depends on the city's museum of fine arts. Once his house was built, he had the idea of creating frescoes covering everything little by little. His life was totally devoted to the construction and decoration of his house and garden, in particular using ceramic and porcelain scraps, among other things, plates that he obtained in public dumps, hence his nickname “freeloader”. His house is now a museum: La Maison Picassiette. (It’s sublime: I highly recommend going to visit it)
