"Rare "reconstruction" Carpet From The 1950s."
We still find rugs from the 1960s/1970s quite often. The emblematic rugs from the 50s are much rarer... This one is a very beautiful example, with its graphics and colors typically representative of the "fifties". With a dominant mottled red and abstract graphic patterns in black, yellow and cream white, it is a pure product of the post-war "reconstruction" spirit, which was intended to be innovative and full of energy. Very good condition, with a very small loss of 1.5 cm (see photo), without tears. Short hair, wool and cotton. Old trace of label on the reverse. This rug has been cleaned by a specialized professional, it is ready to be used. Dimensions: 236 x 170 cm Weight between 12 and 15 kg.
