Miniature, looked at with magnifying glass, is surprising (a stunning mastery of blonde hair).
Gouache Painted on fine laid paper, the King, left profile, with such an atypical face is in full uniform, king of Denmark and Norway, circa 1810.
golden background enhances its colors through transparency, frame is made from wood, gilded brass border typical of its time is studed on, glass appears to have been cut with an axe, handwritten writing under paper, and also on the back of resinous wood.Circa  1810, anonymous portrait…. Dimensions: 13.5cm x 10.6cm. Condition: original, some small stains….
