Old Blue Zircon Ring Cut In Rose And Calibrated Sapphires

Old rectangular ring with cut sides whose setting is ultra flat and adorned in the bezel-set center with a natural blue rose-cut zircon. An entourage of blue sapphires calibrated in a closed setting follows the contours of the octagon. The basket is delicately openwork below, the start of the ring is formed of 2 flat gold wires which come together, and a small palmette decoration holding a rose-cut diamond. A double link in white gold marks the start of the ring.

Our opinion: This old ring from the beginning of the 20th century is astonishingly modern, the light and vibrant blue of the zircon contrasts wonderfully with the intense blue of the sapphires.
