Eugène Henri Cauchois (1850-1911) Very decorative painting by the famous French painter of still lifes of flowers. Dimensions of the painting: 55 x 46 cm (with frame: 72 x 62 cm) Student of Ferdinand Duboc and Alexandre Cabanel, Henry Cauchois specializes in compositions of flower bouquets and still lifes. His paintings are kept in museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts in Angers, Rouen, Perpignan, Louviers, the Museum of Ingres in Montauban. The artist participated for the first time in the Paris Salon in 1874 and sent his works to the Salon des artistes français in 1881, 1890, 1898, 1904 and 1908. He also participated in the Universal Exhibition in 1900. he can be exhibited in pair with the second Cauchois painting of the same size.
