Beautiful Impressionist painting depicting a beautiful landscape on a beautiful day, remarkable skill of the artist in working en plein air and recreating the classic play of light.
The work is very reminiscent of Pissarro's landscapes

Romolo Ubertalli was an excellent pastelist and a skilled photographer. His artistic activity began as a self-taught artist and was perfected at the Accademia Albertina in Turin under the guidance of Carlo Follini and later Andrea Tavernier. Ubertalli gained early recognition to the extent that he was considered one of Piedmont's most talented young artists. The artist used to work en plein air, traveling to the countryside and mountain valleys to paint the Biellese areas.
