"Lion Of Lucerne"
Walnut sculpture representing the Lion of Lucerne after the monument commemorating the brave Swiss mercenaries who defended the Tuileries and King Louis XVI on August 10, 1792. The original project was designed by the Swedish artist THORVALDSEN and the execution was entrusted to at AHORN in 1820-1821. This bas relief of good sculptural quality and possessing a beautiful polish was executed around 1850-1880. These dimensions 35 cm x 29 cm make it a beautiful decorative element.
