"Pair Of Baluster Vases In Polychrome Bayeux Porcelain With Imari Decor Caduceus Mark."
- Pair of baluster-shaped vases in polychrome Bayeux porcelain with hand-painted Imari decoration on a white, blue and gold background. - The two vases are signed in cobalt blue under cover of the caduceus mark on the underside of the base of the two vases and have two cooking defects (removal of materials during firing from the kiln) on one under the base of the vase and a cooking defect on the other still under the base of the vase, see photos. - These cooking defects in no way detract from the exceptional quality of these two vases, whether in terms of the decor or their solidity in terms of porcelain. - Joachim Langlois period. - Period 1st quarter of the 19th century around 1812-1830.
