Very beautiful whole violin (4/4)
Beautiful patina and varnish with green reflections, clear ebony fingerboard (uncommon) on the neck, warm sound, perfect playing condition. Mirecourt workshop, but quite "Marknaukirchen" line (Manufacture of a German apprentice at Mirecourt?).
Label “Antonius Stradivarius fecit Cremona 1721”: model inspired by the violin.
Circa 1900 – 1920.
With a bow signed Voinson from 2017 (invoice on request by the buyer), pernambuco wand, white horsehair, button and handle inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Instrument tuning maintained for balance.
Soul in place, very good condition of the instrument. Violin revised in 2017 by a master luthier. Hard waterproof transport cover and wooden chin strap (2017).
Possibility of playing the scale to understand its sound, if necessary, when collecting the lot.
