Painter Jacques BOUYSSOU born on 11/16/1926 in La Riviére Saint Sauveur Calvados, died on 01/12/1997 in Maisons-Laffite. Son of Justin Bouyssou, a painting dealer in Honfleur. Bouyssou studied at the school of architecture of fine arts in Troyes and drew with the sculptor Janin. His talent as a painter is recognized, he thus joins the lineage of great painters from Honfleur. In 1961 he debuted at the Salon de la Marine, in 1973 he was named "official painter of the French navy. Oil on cardboard the port and the old bell tower of Honfleur.
