"L. Buisson In Limoges. Eggshell Vase In Limoges Porcelain Decorated With Roses, Hand Painted"
charming little Limoges porcelain vase in an oval shape representing an eggshell and decorated with three magnificent roses all in different colors. It rests on three small arched feet enhanced with fine gold. The neck of our porcelain is pleasantly animated and decorated with a gold thread with a “wolf teeth” finish. It comes from the L. Buisson workshops, a very active decorator in the 1930s and 1940s and bears his signature under its background as well as the mark of the factory which produced this shaped piece.
