"Pierre Célice (1932-2019) Abstract Composition "
"In 1952, Pierre Célice met the painter Hayden and then worked in Montparnasse. In 1965, he moved to Seine-et-Marne and, in 1968, devoted himself to lithography. From 1970, alongside painting, he executed monumental works, sculptures or frescoes. At the end of the 1970s, Pierre Célice came out of a long and difficult period, born mainly from voluntary isolation in the countryside. In 1982, he moved back to Paris and participated in. several group exhibitions. At the beginning of 2010, the town hall of Évreux entrusted Pierre Célice with the decoration of the city museum. The temporary installation was largely erased at the end of the exhibition, on May 16, 2010.
