Rare desk or library or architect's table in mahogany and mahogany veneer, mounted on oak, work from the Louis XVI period; opening on the front with two wide and deep drawers Tapered legs with grooves ending in casters, its top covered in its original brown leather with small golden irons This very rare desk and or table is presented in good condition, it is a very rare "document", never "touched" and it has not been transformed!! He was stamped Jean Antoine Bruns master in 1782, he supplied furniture under Louis XVI, then under the Directory and under the Empire before becoming cabinetmaker to Louis XVIII, he manufactured custom furniture including an office chair for the writer Saint Just, he obtained numerous official orders for the service of ministers and high dignitaries....
