Officer's revolver of the 2nd Empire, patented by Guillaume Joseph Meyers, arms manufacturer in Liège and bearing the hallmarks of "E - Lefaucheux", 1855 - 1877, 19th century. Closed frame revolver entirely engraved on the frame and part of the barrel. Round and rifled barrel with thunder sides carrying sights and engraving. 6-chamber barrel in caliber 9 mm with pin bearing starry ELG marking in an oval, i.e. that of acceptance between 1846 & 1893, Liége hallmarks and number 1 on the rear door. Marking on the right side of the frame "MEYERS Patented and crowned Ring cap. Double action mechanism in perfect working order.
