Pair of high Louis XVI style cassolettes in light Campan green marble and gilded bronze. Square base with gilded bronze pedestal with acanthus supporting the light green Campan marble body. Very beautiful ornamentation in gilded bronze with garlands of flowers and handles with feminine and acanthus masks. Marble lid with bronze neck and pine cone fret. These are large and very decorative cassolettes. The original gilding is very bright, the bronze carving is very deep and of high quality. Napoleon III period around 1860. Weight approx. 15 kg.
