Very elegant Louis XVI style cylinder secretary in mahogany and light wood marquetry with floral basket decorations on the front of the cylinder and floral arrangements on the sides and drawers.Rich gilded bronze ornamentation.
Upper tier topped with a white Carrara marble top surrounded by an openwork brass gallery.
The cylinder reveals a theater with a retractable tan leather top and two levels of three drawers (the lower ones are dummy).
Three exterior belt drawers.
Plating at the back.
French work from the end of the 19th century.
Very good condition, fully restored by our workshop, natural buffer varnish finish (french polish).
